the COALstudio recipe:
• Rooted in History: Blend past and future in every design, nurturing cultural heritage
while planting seeds for tomorrow’s growth.

Adapt to Thrive: Innovate with landscapes that bend, not break, in the face of climate change —because resilience is always in style.
• All Hands on Deck: Collaborate with communities and experts to construct spaces
that everyone can dig into and enjoy!

• Visualize to Realise: Craft engaging visuals that spark curiosity, inspire action, and communicate the depth of our designs — because impactful images drive meaningful change.
Cultivate Knowledge: Sow the seeds of learning through teaching and consulting,
inspiring greener thinking for a sustainable future.

COAL’s mission is to create beautiful, resilient, and sincere landscapes that serve both soul and soil.  Guided by truthfulness, aesthetics and cleverness, in collaborative spirit. Through landscape design, urban planning, consultancy, and education, COALstudio brings intellectual rigor, conceptual innovation, humor, and timelessness to every project, crafting spaces that bring daily joy to people and foster resilience for generations to come.
